A section of Fishburn Road in Derry Township will close the evening of July 12 so a drainage pipe can be replaced, PennDOT says.

Fishburn Road will be closed between Routes 322 and 743 from 10 pm. July 12 through 8 a.m. July 13.

Crews will remove a rusted out 12-inch corrugated metal pipe and replace it with an 18-inch plastic pipe.

A detour is to take Routes 322 and 743 instead. Large trucks should use Homestead Road to access Route 743.

This section of Fishburn Road averages 11,300 vehicles a day.
